Derived from the Italian word TRATTARE, which means to treat or attend to...

The trattoria is specifically an Italian institution more akin to an eating club than a conventional restaurants there are no menus and always casual service. The food is made on the premises from what is grown and gathered from the local farms assuring the local clientele, they are eating fresh and always local seasonal produce cooked to order.

42 Bannerman Trattoria is family owned and keeping with tradition. The blackboard menu changes every Wednesday. We make our own breads, pasta, dessert and gelato on the premises.

Follow the tradition, LEAVE IT UP TO US and be surprised. Order from the blackboard menu or share. Then relax, eat, drink and enjoy an Italian evening.
